Brian Yacktman


Brian founded YCG Investments in 2007 and is Chief Investment Officer, Portfolio Manager and a Principal of YCG. Prior to founding YCG, Brian was an Associate at Yacktman Asset Management, the adviser to The Yacktman Funds. He joined them in June, 2004 from Brigham Young University where he graduated cum laude with a B.S. in economics and an M.B.A with an emphasis in finance.

Will Kruger


Will Kruger is Chief Executive Officer and a Principal of YCG. Will began his career as a financial analyst for one of the largest private banking teams in the country at the Private Banking & Investment Group at Merrill Lynch Pierce, Fenner & Smith Inc. During his time at Merrill Lynch, Will co-managed $1.3 billion in discretionary assets for high net worth individuals, endowments, and private foundations. Will joined Merrill Lynch from Brigham Young University where he graduated with a B.S. in accounting.

Elliott Savage


Elliott is a Portfolio Manager and a Principal of YCG since 2012. Prior to joining YCG, Elliott worked directly with the founding partner at Highside Capital Management, a multi-billion dollar long/short equity hedge fund located in Dallas, TX. Prior to joining Highside in 2003, Elliott worked as an investment banker at Salomon Smith Barney in New York. Elliott joined Salomon Smith Barney from the University of Virginia where he was an Echols Scholar and graduated with distinction with B.A.’s in both Economics and Cognitive Science and a minor in Biology.

Michael Yacktman


Michael joined YCG as a securities analyst in August 2010 after he graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University with a B.S. in Economics and a double minor in Business and Mathematics in April 2010. Michael received his M.B.A. with an emphasis in Investment Management from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas, Austin in May 2014, and was also a recipient of the Sord Scholar Award and the Dean's Award for Academic Excellence. Currently, Michael serves as the firm’s Senior Analyst and Lead Trader.
